Store Blog
I took a trip to the mall to try and find a store that I had never been to. I chose Buckle since I liked how the clothes and shoes looked from the outside, but have never actually been inside before. I do not believe the store has been advertised much since I have never really heard of it before. When I walked in I was immediately greeted, but I said I was just browsing. There was only one other customer when I entered the store which may have had something to do with why I was greeted so quickly. The store was very well lit up, and had some alternative rock going. It had a really easy going feel. The clothes in the store where really cool, and some of the stuff would be things I would consider buying. The things in the store where pretty expensive and the clothes target audience seemed to be college students from the style of clothes I saw in the store.

The Persuaders.
In the "persuaders" clips, the main point is about trying to build loyal customers. To do this you must do things like build your product around your targets wants and needs. It makes the product an individual experience for each customer, which will not only get then to keep buying. But it will also actually make them feel like they are apart of the company.
There is a lot of competition between new and old products in the world today. To keep with your competitors you need to also keep up with the ever changing ways of advertising. For example doing more Internet based ads instead of TV based ads.

RAW
I went to two RAW exibits. The first one I went to the group had caution tape and did a mock pass out. They had a sign and told people what RAW ment as well as had empty beer cans. The second group I saw was on Friday. They had a fake party set-up with music and cups and things like that. They also told people info about RAW.
I think they both did an effective job. I think everyone in our class getting the word out and informing students rasied awarness on binge drinking and the student body is now better informed.

Product in the room
The item I look at was my xbox. The first five things I thought of were,
1. Games
2. Fun
3. Entertainment
4. Madden
5. Expensive
The things that shaped my perception of the product was my time using the product and the what those uses have done for me while I was using the product. I also have a lot of Friends that have an xbox which probably lends to the fun and entertainment qualities.
Brantags.net was not working for me I can try again later.

Favorite Ad
The ad I chose was the Coca Cola ad from the 2007 Superbowl. It was the ad that was a parody of Grand Theft Auto. It is animated, and shows a guy walking around doing good things for anyone, as well as giving them a coke.
I think it is one of the smartest ads that I have ever seen. It was very topical to the time, parodying Grand Theft Auto. Also, the song in the ad is really catchey and fun. It is very effective because you see the coke brand everywhere. The ad also makes good deeds and Coke sharing go hand and hand. I think the ad is very effective and as soon as I heard of the assignment I thought of it. I know many ohter people that like the ad as well. I was already a Coke drinker so it did'nt change my habits of Coke drinking, but I still think the ad could be very effective on others.
